Sunway Paving Solutions Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Sun-Block Sdn Bhd), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad (SUNINC), was established in November 1981, mainly deals with the sales, manufacture and supply of Interlocking Concrete Pavers (ICP) and Compressed Concrete Paving Slab (Eurotiles).

With the RM 22.5 million acquisition of Lafarge Roofing System Sdn Bhd’s pavers division in April 2004, Sunway Paving Solutions Sdn Bhd is the largest producer of interlocking concrete pavers.

“This acquisition, which meant buying the business assets such as plant and machineries, brought synergistic benefits to our current operations. We have plants throughout Malaysia to better serve our customers now”, said Dato’ Chew Chee Kin – Group President of the Sunway Group.

Interlocking concrete pavers are predominantly been used in ports for containers yard area and roads. Other usage for interlocking concrete pavers are warehouses, factories, traffic junctions, slip roads, commercial housing roads, car parks, bus terminals, driveways and pedestrian walkways.
